The Renée Douglas Duo was a musical collaboration between Renée Burnett and Doug Onstad that took place in 2003 and 2004.  They played many venues in and around Sonoma County, CA.  This album is a representation of that collaboration. Speak to the Madness by Doug Onstad and Gabriel Fraire

This album was done with talented writer Gabriel Fraire.  The songs range musically from straight-ahead rock to jazz and blues and country.   The recordings feature some top Sonoma County musicians on fiddle, mandolin, harmonic, trumpet, sax and guitar.  Lyrically, the songs feature a hard-edged perspective while always maintaining an underlying trust in human nature. 

All songs are by Doug Onstad and Gabe Fraire except "As We Dance" by Onstad, Fraire, and Peggy Day.
